Stroop Experiment
Color names (Red, Blue, Yellow, and Green) are tachistoscopically presented in three different positions relative to a central fixation point. The user's task is to identify the font color (not the word name) as quickly as possible following presentation of the word. The independent variables are word position (right, center, or left relative to the fixation point) and stimulus type (word and font color are congruent or non-congruent). Response time and accuracy are the dependent variables.
