Meeting Agenda:

1.) We received $12.50 from recycled pop cans.

2.) We need to e-mail stuff about Psi Chi Applications, need membership
card, psi chi application, and UNI application.

• $5 membership fee for psych club
• $10 for the cords (recommended)
• $22 for the cords and medal combo

3.) We should be hearing from Psi Chi about scholarship in the middle of
November.

4.) We might buy 10 cords and give them to people with a $15 deposit for a
return. If they don't bring them back we deposit the check. (If
Available) Can't guarantee this to everybody. Psych club keeps 5 cords to
lend out at ceremony. Put in by-laws.

5.) Majors Fair -- Write a letter of recommendation for success to Barrios.

6.) Professor Award (Brief Description)

• Psychology Club members write their nomination for best professor
  on a secret ballot.
• The nominations are counted by the Psychology Club officers and
  the top five (or so in case of a tie) professors with the most
  nomininations are determined.
• Psych Club Officers contact the 5 nominated professors and ask
  them if they accept the nomination. By accepting, these 5 professors
  agree to send us supporting materials or statements about their
  teaching philosophy and interaction with thier students BY A SPECIFIED
  DATE.
• E-mail the names of the 5 nominated professors to all Psychology
  Club members to get their positive feedback about any/all of the
  nominated teachers they have had classes/research with.

- MHI Field Trip -- Meet at Scheels at 2:10 and return around 5:30
