Items Discussed-

Officer Psychology Club Meeting Notes
September 24, 2007 @ Pepper's

Review of previous events
Book Sale
Book sale went well. Total income was $132.50
Remaining books are currently in Psych 1 building pending sale via EBay/Amazon
For the future, it should be decided where money is going to be allocated prior to the event. This is so we can tell people accurately why we are doing what we are doing.

Movie night
Movie night had poor turn out. It is hypothesized that attendance was low due to lack of ability to advertise and little awareness. Will try again in a different location.
Review of Future Events
It was suggested that perhaps there should be another book sale for the spring. Item will be discussed at a later date.

MHI
Need one week advance notice
Tour must be completed by 5:30. 3:30 was the suggested time
Need transportation, located in Independence
Perhaps individuals could receive extra credit for missing class?
Friday seemed to be the best day for the event

Roller Rink
Black Hawk Roller Rink
Sat.-group rate for a minimum of 75 people $4.00 per person
(I know the owners; they suggested that we go on a Sat. for group events)

Bowling Alley
Quarter mania-might be difficult to get into
Valley Park: Monday at 6pm have league bowling but have lanes available for about 30 people. Free shoes and 2.50 per game

Bar-B-Q
Want to be held at the end of October
Find wholesale food from local company's donation
Charge by the plate or by the item

Mental Health Awareness
Not much said. Perhaps fundraise like Relay for Life.

Miscellaneous
Hot cider/Hot Cocoa for sleigh rides during winter
