    A. Psi Chi decisions made
    B. CSBS Research Conference
      1. Receive free admission for assisting with set-up or tear down
    C. Sophomore Educational Advantage (SEA)
      1. This Wednesday, April 4th at 3:00 in Sabin 129
    D. School psychology department will be offering an undergraduate course next year
    E. Another graduate student panel Tuesday night, April 3
      1. 7:00 p.m. in Union Ballroom C
      2. For all students considering grad school, not just psych students

    A. Introductions of panel
    B. Application procedures
      1. Consider your preferred geographic location
      2. Pursue professors matching your research interests
        a. do research as an undergrad!
      3. Decide whether you will continue on to a PhD program or a terminal Master's program
        a. Master's helpful for those not sure about getting a PhD
        -helps to narrow down research focus area
      4. Contact schools you're interested in
        a. do ASAP
        b. be formal in your e-mails or telephone calls
        -might be put in your file
      5. Get to know professors now to serve as recommenders
        a. ask for recommendations early
      6. Start writing personal statement 5 months ahead of time
      7. Clinical programs: apply to 8-12 schools
      8. Applying for grad school could be around $800-1100
    C. Finances
      1. Less financial aid first year
    D. Other suggestions
      1. Do research in the summer
      2. PsyD programs have little or no research component
      3. Key to success in grad school is time management
      4. Psychology GRE
      -read general psych textbook or TA for Intro class
      5. Internships or volunteer experience very helpful
