A. Purposes of Psi Chi
1. Promote excellence in scholarship
2. Advance the science of psychology
3. Provide recognition for members
4. Provide a nurturing climate for creative psychology endeavors
B. In order to be a Psych Club officer, you must be a Psi Chi member
C. Requirements
1. Current university student
2. Based on UNI achievement, verified by Registrar
3. 9 completed hours of psychology courses
4. Psychology major/minor
5. Top 35% of class
6. Minimum 3.0 overall and psychology GPA
D. Benefits of Psi Chi membership
1. Induction ceremony for you and guests
2. Cool graduation cord
3. Membership certificate and cord
4. Eligible to purchase Psi Chi merchandise
5. Psi Chi sponsors sessions at regional/national psych conventions

1. Pay $55 application fee ($50 if you have already paid this year's psych club dues)
