Undergraduate Certificate in

Industrial-Organizational Psychology

 

UNI undergraduate students can receive a certificate in I-O psychology. The certificate provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be competitve in a professional human resources environment.

 

When a student has completed the courses, the certificate appears on the official transcript and a certificate is mailed to the student.

 

Courses in the Certificate Program

The following three courses are required. It is recommended that students first complete 400:025:

 

400:025 Applied Psychology

400:157 Industrial Psychology

400:158 Organizational Psychology

 

Students must also complete two elective courses from the following list:

150:165  Organizational Behavior

150:166  Staffing

150:174: Ethics in Business (also listed as 640:174 &

              650:174)

400:106  Psychology of Human Differences

400:134  Motivation and Emotion

400:160  Social Psychology
